Hi dear followers! I will talk about my process of designing a worksheet.
First of all, I want to state that this process was really challenging for me. In fact, understanding the assignment was the hardest one. Two weeks before, in our material design course, we studied corpus which is a collection of texts, written or spoken, usually stored in a computer database. Then, we were assigned to create a worksheet but I didn’t understand how to integrate corpus to the material. However, I created a draft and took a feedback. I had many mistakes and I was confused. Luckily, our dear teacher explained us the task clearly last week and I tried to do the homework with my friend Hande.
Our task was to create a worksheet for high school students and it had to be based on inductive learning. We had to use corpus while creating it. Deciding the topic was hard but in the end we decided to do it on commonly confused words. At the same time, we examined various examples which our teacher gave us. Then, we created a draft and took a feedback. According to the feedback, we designed our material again. We enabled students to discover by themselves using corpus and in the end, they were asked to create their own sentences. We used canva while designing our material.

To sum up, designing a worksheet is a challenging task but when you are given examples and feedbacks it is easier. If your worksheet is inductive, it will enable students to discover and learn permanently. I think creating it is an important step for being a teacher as we will design many materials for our students in the future.
