Hello everyone! Today, I will talk about podcasting.
As we know, a podcast is an audio file which can be about any topic you want. Podcasting has a few processes. Firstly, from a podcasting app we create an account.Then we record the audio. And then we save it. To share it we can embed it to our blogs or anywhere we want.
In our educational technology class we were assigned to create a podcast. Me and my friend Şebnem created a podcast. We interviewed with people in Caddebostan. Our question was “What are the qualities of a good English teacher in the 21st century?”. We took variable responses. You can click on the post below and listen our podcast.
When it comes to interviewing process it was enjoyable for us. We experienced different things. Our self confidence has improved and we can speak with people comfortably,
I think. But there were some difficulties. It was hard to find people to interview. Most of them didn’t know English or didn’t want to speak. But overall it was an entertaining process.
When I become a teacher I will teach my students how to podcast. Because it improves different skills like listening,speaking,communication etc. They can improve themselves with a small part of technology.
